Tenaris has opened an office in Copenhagen in order to offer products and commercial and logistical services to Danish international energy firms Maersk and DONG.

The company recently signed with Maersk and DONG two contracts extending over two and four years respectively. The agreements involve the supply of TenarisHydril Blue and Wedge Series 500TM connections as well as Dopeless technology, along with sour service grades. The two deals position Tenaris as the leading OCTG supplier for the Danish oil and gas market.

Tenaris has also appointed a service coordinator to work in an office located on Maersk's premises in the city of Esbjerg, where the Danish firm has its North Sea oil production activities' headquarters.
